🧩 Coaching with Pillar

As part of our mission to advance the integration of health coaching into daily life, Pillar enters into partnerships with leading health & wellness companies interested in increasing patient activation and broadening access to continuous care. We are seeking providers to work with our partners across the healthcare ecosystem, with requirements varying from 5 to 12 hours of availability daily over a 5 to 7 day workweek.

Most importantly, we are seeking to create an inclusive network of capable coaches. We believe that a diversity of coaches from varying racial, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds enables us to serve a broader population and bridge inequities in access to personalized care.

📌 The Role

Pillar coaches consider the whole person, understanding client motivations, strengths, and values to inspire effective co-created plans of action across their personal and professional lives. Our goal is to build an elevated provider experience to empower our coaches to do their most impactful work as supported by modern technology, dedicated resources and a sense of community. Longer-term, we look forward to satisfied and quality coaches evolving into a more hands-on role where they will shape the culture of Pillar while operating as guides for the next generations of Pillar coaches.

⚡️About You

• A certification from a professional coach training program accredited with the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. NBC-HWC board certification preferred.
• Demonstrated prior experience and dedication on delivering client outcomes, especially when it comes to health education and coaching around conditions such as (1) sleep, (2) behavioral health, (3) diabetes, (4) pre-diabetes and weight management, (5) musculoskeletal and pain management, (6) hypertension, (7) smoking cessation, (8) cancer support, (9) fertility management and hormone health, and (10) autoimmune conditions.
• Fluency in bringing in integrative, evidence-based approaches into the coaching process, such as CBT, SDT, MI, positive psychology, breathwork and mindfulness.
• Ability to translate relevant health education and tools to equip clients as the masters of their own health from an intentional and informed perspective.
• Partake in and monitor periodic tracking to encourage long-term efficacy and outcomes, as well as support when growth proves not to be linear.
• Confidence in your ability to foster trusting, mutual connections online, and a willingness to adhere to Pillar’s coaching guidelines, values, protocols and procedures. Experience with telehealth is preferred but not required.
• Passion to be a part of building something innovative and mission-driven, actively providing feedback and insights to support the continued evolution of the Pillar program over time.
• Experience with video-based and chat-based coaching and confidence in your ability to foster trusting, mutual connections online.
